Jacksonville Jaguars Are Installing Poolside Cabanas In Their Stadium
JAX - Jacksonville Jaguars fans will be able to watch a game this season while sitting in a pool inside the stadium. The team has taken out 9,500 seats in the north end zone and is replacing them with a two-level party deck that includes two pools and 16 cabanas complete with plush furniture. Companies or fans can rent one of the four poolside cabanas on the first level for $12,500 a game, or $250 per person. The package includes 50 tickets and is all-you-can-eat and drink. Wine and beer will be served through the third quarter, as is the case with the rest of the stadium.
Because who needs to pay attention to the game anyways? For baseball, this is brilliant. I would love to chill out in the Diamondback’s pool to drink beers and catch a ball game. A perfectly relaxing day. For football, this is an atrocity. If you need to be entertained at an NFL game with more than what’s offered on the field you should be at home watching Lifetime or live blogging beauty pageants. It’s all about the game. But I guess anything to improve the experience of being forced to watch the Jaguars attempt to play football is a good thing. However, Tim Tebow might finally make an appearance inside the stadium during game day now. That’s probably all that matters to most Jags fans.
